Our wide range of services encompasses Painting, Deck & Fence Building, Home Maintenance, Repairs & Renovations, and many, many more. We tackle all projects, from complete interior & exterior painting renovations down to the smallest home repair. We can also assist with Project Management and smaller Commercial projects.

"My journey began almost 30 years ago in South Africa, where I started my first business fresh out of school. Suparoof offered cleaning, repairing & painting of all roofs: tile, iron, or other. My love for the industry grew, and I extended my services to incorporate house painting: exterior & interior. Once I included interiors in my work, things snowballed, and soon I found the need to restructure my company. That is when Roof & Home was born. We handled all forms of work around the home, both inside and out. We offered one point of contact for everything from flooring to roofing, painting to built-in-cupboards & kitchens, decks & fences to minor plumbing & electrics. No job was turned away and no client was left disappointed.
My wife and I then decided to start a new adventure, and in 2006 we moved to Auckland, New Zealand with our daughter. I spent my first few years here involved with all aspects of demolition, worked with various builders and exterior cleaning companies, and even spent some time staging homes for sale!
In 2012 we welcomed our son, and by 2013 I made the decision to go out on my own again. I quickly realised that there was a shortage of reliable and trustworthy contractors, and many were either out for a quick buck, or only interested in the bigger projects. I decided to focus on filling the gaps: combining all my knowledge and expertise to offer all my clients the best possible outcome on all their projects, big or small.
I listen to individual requirements & budgets, offer a range of solutions, and then provide detailed quotes according to discussed plans of action. Once projects start, I keep clients up-to-date with progress (no matter how big or small), as communication is key to building long-lasting relationships. Any additional issues or work required is fully discussed, and clients have the final say in all work to be completed. At the end of each day, properties are left as tidy & clean as possible, and at the end of every project, clients are left with quality workmanship and peace of mind.
At the end of 2021, my wife, children & I decided to make a 15-year dream come true, and we moved to Taupo. We instantly felt like we were finally home, and my new dream is to help as many locals as possible to turn their houses into dream homes that will stand the test of time."
